UEFA’s Disciplinary Body applied a fine of EUR50,000 to FC Steaua following the incidents in the match against Hungary’s Ujpest FC in the second preliminary round of the Europa League, www.sportm.ro reported.

Throughout the match fans displayed a banner reading an obscene message and a fan stormed the field in the 62nd minute and was immediately stopped by the guards.

Steaua owner Gigi Becali told Sport.ro channel that fans should pay the fine.

The Ujpest FC – Steaua Bucharest, the away game played by Steaua in the second preliminary round of the Europe League will take place Thursday, starting with 20.45 local time. In the game at home, Steaua defeated Ujpest 2-0.
