Romanian Businessman Tender Eyes Acquisitions In Serbia

"We plan to buy a plant by direct negotiation with the Serbian government. Moreover, we have already submitted a bid to buy a private telecom operator," Tender said Friday in a press conference.

Tender added that the value of the bid to buy the telecom operator reaches some EUR12-13 million.

Tender also said his company already bought in Serbia, this summer, a drug maker, a tobacco fermentation plant, a hotel complex and a 50% stake in a spa company. The total value of the investment exceeds EUR10 million.
