Romania Secures Two Gold Medals In European Rowing Championship

Romania won two gold medals in the European Rowing Championships in Greece in the women’s double sculls and 8+1, according to the competition’s official website.

Romanian rowers Georgeta Andrunache and Viorica Susanu, who also brought home Olympic gold from Beijing, were followed by Russia and Belarus.

The second gold medal was secured by Romania’s 8+1 rowing team, beating Great Britain and Belarus.
