Romania Seeks To Further Lower Investor Requirements For State Aid – PM
Romania’s Government is looking at ways to continue to lower caps on investments and number of jobs created for companies to qualify for state aid, after a recent decision reducing these caps, Prime Minister Emil Boc said Friday.

"Together with the Economy Ministry, we will discuss in the Government the possibility of further lowering these thresholds," Boc said.
Three weeks ago, Romania lowered minimum requirements for state aid to investments of at least EUR10 million firm EUR30 million and 100 jobs from the previous 300.
The prime minister also said the Government will continue to eliminate parafiscal taxes.
