Romania To Cut Staff In Defense Sector By 9.2%, To 1,611 Employees

Romania's Government will limit the average number of employees in eight defense companies to 1,611 this year, 9.2% less than the size of the staff in 2011, but the salary fund will be raised by 4.2%, to 39.29 million lei (EUR9 million), under a draft decision by the Economy Ministry.
