Romania To Send Police Officers To U.N. Peacekeeping Mission In Congo
Romania’s Supreme Defense Council on Wednesday approved a proposal forwarded by the Ministry of Interior to send 15 police officers to the United Nations’ mission in Congo, MONUC, the presidency said in a statement.

“MONUC is the largest U.N. peacekeeping mission, which includes 56 countries worldwide – 15 of them are European states,” the presidency said.
The United Nations will cover all related costs regarding the participation of the 15 Romanian police officers in the mission.
