Boc met Le Hourerou for talks that were also attended by the agriculture, finance, education and transport ministers.
"During the meeting, there were no talks on a new loan agreement between the Government and the World Bank," the news release notes.
Furthermore, "the Government will continue its partnership with the World Bank to apply reforms and improve the activities of ministers. To this end, the World Bank will provide technical assistance for the completion of reforms already started," the Government informed.
People close to the matter previously told MEDIAFAX that Government and World Bank representatives met Tuesday to begin applying an action plan developed using the bank's recommendations. The plan's main focus falls on simplifying the business environment and reducing bureaucracy.
