Romanian 16-Year Old Boy Killed In After School Brawl

According to the Mehedinti County Criminal Investigations chief Dan Patrutescu, Friday, around 13.00 local time, when both kids, classmates at the Matei Basarab high school in Strehaia finished classes, a fight broke out between them, sparked by the fact that one of them was stuttering.

 

The other kids in the class said one week another conflict broke out between the two, because of a birth defect causing the aggressor to stutter, which caused everyone, including the victim, to make fun of him.

 

The kids added the latest fight between the two was broken up by classmates two weeks ago.

 

In the final altercation, Friday, the aggressor kicked the later hospitalized victim in the stomach. The doctor on call, Irina Cotarta said several doctors tried to resuscitate the victim for an hour, but they were unsuccessful, so time of death was marked around 14.00 local time.

 

School inspector Lucia Ciorata said the inspectorate and the school’s management began an investigation and no comments will be made pending the completion of the investigation.

 

The aggressor is currently investigated by the prosecutors within the Mehedinti court.
