Romanian Actor Nicu Constantin In Critical Condition

Romanian actor Nicu Constantin was admitted to the ICU at the Military Emergency Hospital in Bucharest with severe pulmonary affection and his current situation is critical, hospital commander, General Doctor Ioan Sarbu said Monday.

“The doctors are doing everything they can to improve the actor’s health. His condition is critical and he was admitted to the ICU,” Sarbu said.

Nicu Constantin, 60, was hospitalized on May 11 with severe pulmonary affection and associated illnesses. His condition showed no improvement since.

Born in July 1939, Nicu Constantin played in some 28 movies and featured in over 9,000 theater shows during his career.

He attended over 600 radio shows and over 300 TV shows.

His filmography includes “Ministerul comediei” (1999), Borvizomanii (1988), “Secretul lui Bachus” (1984), “Ora zero” (1979) etc.
