Flutur said he contacted airline operators Tarom, Romavia and Carpatair, which would take over the regular flights from the Suceava Airport, especially the one towards Venice, Italy.
Blue Air issued an announcement Thursday saying all flights to and from the Suceava Airport will be ceased starting September 16.
Blue Air explained the decision saying the number of passengers is low and Boeing planes cannot be used.
The company started using the Suceava Airport on June 15, 2009, with daily flights to the northwestern Romanian city of Cluj and flights to Vienna, Austria, and Venice operated three times per week.
The Suceava Airport continues to host the companies Tarom and Carpatair.
