Romanian Airliner Blue Air Launches Constanta-Brussels Flight

Romania’s low-cost airliner Blue Air will operate starting August 12, a flight on the route Constanta (Mihail Kogalniceanu Airport)-Brussels (Zaventem) to take place every Tuesday, the airliner said.

Between August 12 and September 23 the flight will depart at 10:00 local time from Romania’s south-eastern city of Constanta and reach Brussels at 12:15. The retour flight is scheduled to take off at 13:00 and arrive in Constanta at 17:00.

Blue Air, owned by Romanian businessman Nelu Iordache, estimated a turnover of EUR120 million in 2008, up some EUR30 million from 2007.

The list of low-cost airliners on Romanian territory includes EasyJet, Ryanair, SkyEurope, WizzAir, MyAir and Germanwings.
