„According to our analysis, we have a shortage of specialists in the medical system. We’ll analyze auxiliary staff also, and take measures where such staff is in excess,” Cseke said. He said the country has a shortage of radiologists and anesthesiologists, adding a long-term education program is needed to fix the situation. The minister also said the healthcare system will not see any wage raises this year, but all bonuses granted in 2009 would be kept.
