Romanian B'estfest Festival Nominated For Best European Festival Award
Romanian B'estfest festival, which rocked capital city Bucharest this summer at its second edition, was nominated for the Best European Festival Award, the organizer of the event, Emagic Entertainment, announced.

As member of the Yourope community since 2007, an association which includes 40 of the most important European festivals (among which Exit Serbia, Lowlands Holland or Rock`n`Coke Turkey), B'estfest entered this year in the competition for the Best European Festival Award.
Supported by the Yourope community, in association with Virtual Festivals Europe, the Best European Festival Award is the European equivalent for the UK Festival Awards.
The winner will be selected through the online voting session displayed on the official website of the contest. Moreover, voters will have the chance to win two tickets at the 2009 edition of the winning festival.
The list of the first 10 qualified festivals will be made public On October 13, 2008, keeping the voting process open until October 20.
The Best European Festival Award and the lucky winner of the two tickets will be officially announced during a ceremony in London on October 30.
This year’s edition of the B'estfest brought famous artists on the stage, like Alanis Morissette, Cypress Hill, UNKLE, Kaiser Chiefs, Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Nouvelle Vague, Nelly Furtado, Manu Chao, Roisin Murphy, Sunrise Avenue, Judas Priest, Primal Fear and Ross The Boss.
