Romanian car maker Dacia launched Tuesday a revamped variant of the Logan Sedan, at the same price as the previous version, namely EUR6,400 with VAT, while the older version was taken off the production line.
8 viewsLogan facelift introduces a novelty in the area of safety, namely the emergency braking assistant (ABU). In addition, the facelift version has a height adjustable steering column and the larger side mirrors were taken from the Logan MCV.
The revamped Logan Sedan brings some changes in look as well, with retouches of the hood, tail lights and bumpers. In addition, the interior is changed to look more modern.
Logan MCV revamped will be launched in 2009, according to sources close to Dacia.
"Logan has proven it is a good car, but, like for any other model that undergoes substantial changes in time, a revamped variant is necessary. For Logan Sedan, the facelift will be marketed in the second half of the year," Dacia, Renault and Nissan commercial manager in Romania Jacques Daniel recently told MEDIAFAX.
In addition, Dacia will launch, next year, a Logan Sedan with a 1.6 liter engine, which develops 133 hp, the same engine as Renault Twingo Sport, according to the worldwide Sandero product director, Sophie Albertus.
In the four years since the launch of Logan, Renault sold over one million units in the entire world, under the brands Dacia and Renault. Last year, Romania was the largest market for Logan, with over 100,000 units delivered, followed by Russia (some 68,000 cars) and France (over 32,000 cars).
