According to earlier statements of Dacia – Renault officials, the facelift will be applied to the Logan Sedan.

Logan MCV revamped will be launched in 2009, according to sources close to Dacia.

"Logan has proven it is a good car, but, like for any other model that undergoes substantial changes in time, a revamped variant is necessary. For Logan Sedan, the facelift will be marketed in the second half of the year," Dacia, Renault and Nissan commercial manager in Romania Jacques Daniel recently told MEDIAFAX.

Daniel did not mention if the Logan facelift will be cheaper or more expensive than the current Logan.

In addition, Dacia will launch, next year, a Logan Sedan with a 1.6 liter engine, which develops 133 hp, the same engine as Renault Twingo Sport, according to the worldwide Sandero product director, Sophie Albertus.

In the four years since the launch of Logan, Renault sold over one million units in the entire world, under the brands Dacia and Renault. Last year, Romania was the largest market for Logan, with over 100,000 units delivered, followed by Russ (some 68,000 cars) and France (over 32,000 cars).
