Romanian Car Mkr Dacia To Present The Duster Crossover Concept In Geneva
"Duster, the first concept car from Dacia, is an ingenious crossover. Seen from the driver’s side, Duster is a sporty coupe. Seen from the passenger side, Duster is an MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) with two doors that open in opposite directions," said a press release issued by the company.
The concept is 1.49 meters in heights, 4.25 meters in length (the same as a Logan Sedan) and 1.64 meters in width. The wheel base measures 2.8 meters, and the car is a robust and sporty crossover, according to the document.
"Special attention was given to the aerodynamic performance of Duster (the Cx quotient is 0.30)", Dacia stated.
The concept is fitted with a diesel engine of 1.5 liters which develops 105 hp, equipped with a particle filter. Thus, the engine emits 139 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometer and has a consumption of 5.3 liters for 100 kilometers.
The car goes from zero to 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds.
"The dashboard includes a 20-liter glove compartment. There is additional 8-liter storage space in the doors. Another compartment is hidden in the backseat. Easily accessible, this compartment slides out from the trunk," the document reads.
