The date when the car will be sold in Romania was not mentioned and will be announced at a later date.
"Depending on the market, Dacia Sandero Stepway is fitted with a 1.6 liter and 90 hp gasoline engine, as well as a diesel dCi 70 hp engine. Dacia Sandero Stepway is made at the Romanian Mioveni plant. (...) Over 5% of plastic materials used on the making of the model are recycled, and 95% of the vehicle’s mass can be recycled at the end of the life cycle," said a Dacia press release.
The 70 hp diesel version emits 140 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometer, thus it received the Dacia eco² signature.
Same as all other vehicles in the Dacia range available in Europe, Dacia Sandero Stepway will come with a three year or 100,000 km guarantee.
Sandero Stepway is 4.02 meters long and 1.99 meters wide. The model is slightly taller than the Sandero and has its front and rear bumpers modified, as well as the sideskirts.
The trunk has a volume of 320 liters and if the backseat is folded the trunk can reach a volume of 1,200 liters.
The car is equipped with two frontal airbags, driver and passenger, electronic breaking repartition ABS and emergency breaking assistance.
Sandero Stepway is available in three metallic colors (Platine Gray, Comète Gray and Fire Red).
