Romanian deputies voted Friday the Chamber Speaker, a position in which three candidates had been proposed by Parliament groups: democrat liberal Roberta Anastase, liberal Ludovic Orban and Magyar minority party member Laszlo Borbely.

Of the 313 validly expressed votes, Roberta Anastase obtained 218 pros.

Orban obtained 69 pros and 256 cons.

Borbely obtained 26 pros and 299 cons.
