Romanian Coach Mircea Lucescu Operated In Donetk After Mild Heart Attack

Romanian coach of Ukraine’s Shakhtar Donetsk Mircea Lucescu suffered a mild heart attack Wednesday night and was operated in Donetk, prosport.ro reported.

According to the quoted source, the Romanian coach was operated at about 3 a.m. and is now stable.

George Copos, majority shareholder of Romanian team FC Rapid, told MEDIAFAX Thursday that Lucescu’s condition is well, adding he spoke to him on the phone after Lucescu had suffered a mild heart attack.

“I’ve just spoken to Mircea Lucescu. He is fine. Life is complicated,” Copos said, without giving any further details.
