According to the quoted source, the Romanian coach was operated at about 3 a.m. and is now stable.

George Copos, majority shareholder of Romanian team FC Rapid, told MEDIAFAX Thursday that Lucescu’s condition is well, adding he spoke to him on the phone after Lucescu had suffered a mild heart attack.

“I’ve just spoken to Mircea Lucescu. He is fine. Life is complicated,” Copos said, without giving any further details.
