Romanian Labor Min Mihai Seitan To Be Replaced

Seitan said that, although he succeeded in accomplishing most of the things he set out to during his term, there are still many things to do. Among his term’s achievements, Seitan listed the pension law, the unitary public sector wage law, the law on minimum income, the law on the protection of people with disabilities and controls to identify cases of fraudulent invalidity pensions.

Earlier today, Sebastian Vladescu and Mihail Dumitru said they had been informed by Prime Minister Boc that they would be replaced as Minister of Finance and Minister of Agriculture, respectively. The prime minister also had a separate talk with Transport Minister Radu Berceanu.
