Dacia’s sales on the light commercial vehicles segment decreased by 13% to 5,000 units, from 5,640 last year.
Sandero sales halved in the first three months, dropping to 25,400 units from 50,200 last year, while Logan sales declined b 44%, to 16,440 from 29,450. The Duster model, launched in March last year, sold 39,770 units in the first three months of 2011.
In March, Dacia sales dropped 12% on the month, to 32,000 units from 36,300 last year. On the light commercial vehicles segment, sales declined 4%, to 2040 units from 2125.
Last year, Dacia sales grew 12%, to 348,723 units, from 311,426 the year before. France was the Renault group’s largest market, with 743,509 units sold last year, followed by Germany (171,482) and Brazil (160,303).
