Romanian Democrat Liberals, Hungarian Minority Party Completed Govt Protocol
Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania leader Marko Bela told MEDIAFAX Saturday he met with President Traian Basescu, Prime Minister-designate Emil Boc and the future Cabinet’s proposed ministers, adding they completed the government protocol and the government coalition’s functioning regulation.

"The government program is being worked on and we have already finished the government protocol and the regulation by which the ruling coalition will function. As regards the government protocol, it will be made public as soon as possible. It includes draft laws we agree with and want to be approved," Marko Bela said.
Regarding the government coalition's functioning principles, Marko Bela said decisions will be made by a coalition council made up of seven members.
"Our top priority is to have a Government and a government program. The country's future Cabinet might be in place even before Christmas," Marko Bela.
Prime Minister Emil Boc Saturday morning asked the proposed ministers during a government meeting to present their view on the priorities in the sectors they will be in charge with as the country's future ministers. The government meeting resumed at 4 p.m. to include ministers' propositions in the government program that will be forwarded to Parliament.
Democrat liberals and the Hungarian minority party Friday announced their nominations for the country's future ministers.
The approved democrat liberal minister list is as follows: Vasile Blaga - the Interior Ministry, Adriean Videanu - the Economy Ministry, Radu Berceanu - the Transport Ministry, Elena Udrea - the Tourism and Regional Development Ministry, Gabriel Sandu - the Communications Ministry, Catalin Croitoru - the Education, Youth and Sports Ministry, Orest Onofrei - the Agriculture Ministry, Mihai Seitan - the Labor Ministry.
The Hungarian minority party's approved minister list includes: Marko Bela - Deputy Prime Minister, Kelemen Hunor - the Culture Ministry, Laszlo Borbely - the Environment Ministry, Attila Cseke - the Health Ministry.
Gabriel Oprea was proposed for defense minister on behalf of the independent MP group and former liberal Sebastian Vladescu was proposed for the country's finance minister.
