Romanian Directors At London Film Festival

The Romanian Film Festival to be held in London between November 16 and November 21 will host productions directed by Romanian directors Cristian Mungiu, Cristian Nemescu, Lucian Pintilie, Corneliu Porumboiu, Catalin Mitulescu, Cristi Puiu and Radu Muntean, London-based Romanian Cultural Institute, or ICR, said on Thursday.

The festival, dubbed “Romanian Cinema: A Journey,” includes seven of the most famous Romanian films, including Mungiu’s Palme d’Or-awarded movie “4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days.”

Moviegoers will also be able to watch "California dreamin' (Nesfarsit)," directed by late Cristian Nemescu and winner of the “Un Certain Regard” award in 2007.
