The reorganization of the fiscal authority implies the cut of 46 local fiscal authorities that do not have treasury, and of four fiscal authorities functioning in cities. Thus 477 positions will be scrapped, of which 440 are now functional, Pogea said.
The minister said the employees of the National Authority for Fiscal Administration will be soon redistributed with the view to improve the fiscal capacity.
The control over the contributors that pay their dues will be reduced and it will be directed toward those that present a higher risk regarding reimbursing the VAT, Pogea said.
