Romanian Food Safety Inspectors Find Another 500 Kg Of Bad Meat

Another approximate 500 kilograms of processed pork meat coming from Ireland were pulled off the market. The meat was identified Friday following food safety inspections.

Food safety inspectors performed, Friday afternoon, another 422 inspections in food processing units, retail stores and cold storage facilities. The inspectors identified and seized 484 kilograms of meat products.

Also Friday, food safety inspectors identified and seized another 8.2 tons from the Ireland lot.

Thus, almost 43 tons of meat coming from Ireland were pulled off the market so far.
