This procedure marks the end of the first round of local polls for Bucharest mayoralty, held on June 1.
However, four members of BEM refused to sign the minute, citing irregularities in the voting process.
Under the law, the minute of a certain polling station can be submitted to BEC and is considered an official document even if not signed by all members of the Electoral Office of the respective polling station.
After centralizing the results in all 1,181 polling stations in Bucharest, independent candidate Sorin Oprescu leads the race with 30.12% of the votes, democrat liberal Vasile Blaga got 29.56%, while social democrat candidate Cristian Diaconescu secured 12.33% of the votes.
