Romanian Football Mogul Dubbed “Imbecile Of The Week” In France

Romanian football club Steaua Bucharest financer Gigi Becali was dubbed “imbecile of the week” by French television station M6 within an auto show. Becali received this title after trying to fix his Maybach Benz with a crowbar in 2006.

Becali was also nominated for the title “Idiot of the month,” but lost to a man who started his jeep and got on the hood of the car, which slammed into a tree throwing the would-be daredevil into a time of pain.
