Thievery Corporation Cancels Bucharest Show

They are the third band to cancel their performance at B’estfest, after Iggy Pop and The Stooges, and The Faint.

Aside from the Bucharest show, Thievery Corporation will be unable to perform at Open’er (Poland) and Balaton Sound (Hungary). The two members of the band apologized to the fans and said they hope to be able to play the citites left out this summer.

According to B’estfest’s website, more bands are to perform at the festival and will be announced soon.

So far, the confirmations for B’estfest are The Killers and Patrice (July 1), Ayo, Moby, Polarkreis 18 and Motorhead (July 2), Klaxons, AB4, Orbital and Franz Ferdinand (July 3), Santana, The Charlatans, The Ting Tings, Looptroop Rockers and The Mood (July 4), and Manowar, Holyhell, Trooper, Thunderstorm and NeXuS at Aftershock (July 5).

Tickets for “Zero Day”, Aftershock, single-day tickets and full passes for July 2-4 are available online, at www.myticket.ro, and in the Diverta store chain. B’estfest will take place between July 1 and 5, at Romexpo.
