The general manager of Ford Romania, Dionision Campos, accompanied by representatives of the consultancy company McGuireWoods, met the president of the local council, Ion Prioteasa, and the prefect of the county Dolj, Florin Stancu.
“We also talked about the issue of building homes near Ford. We were asked to intervene and no longer approve construction activities in the area, as the car plant will work 24/7,” Prioteasa said.
Ford representatives attended Monday a public debate in the Craiova city hall and Camposo said the company invested EUR16 million “to improve environment conditions” in the car plant in Craiova.
