Romanian Govt To Reconsider Taxation Of Handicapped Individuals

The change is included in a working draft amendment to the Fiscal Code, drawn up by the Government.
The document, thus, adds the category of sums not counting as salary income, and not taxed, with the income achieved by individuals with severe or incapacitating handicaps.
Late February, the president of the National Authority for People with Handicaps, Ioana Lese, told MEDIAFAX that she asked the Ministry of Finance to reconsider a Government Decision that implemented income taxation for this category of individuals.
