Romania’s CFR Calatori To Launch Online Ticketing Service By Fall

“The online ticket-buying system is currently being tested at CFR’s IT Center and we hope that it will be up and running by this fall, first for tour operators and corporate clients. The system should be available for passengers as of next year,” Vlaicu said.

 

The rail company has recently launched a subscription which offers corporate customers unlimited travel for six or twelve months, Vlaicu said.

 

The twelve-month subscription costs 9,000 lei (EUR1-RON3.6499).

 

Vlaicu said CFR might launch an offer for loyal customers as well, depending on the market demand.
