"I asked ANRE to cut the tariff of electricity, even by 100 times, for the public lighting during the night, because many city halls are forced to break off this service,” Nica said.

On Monday, Nica met the mayors of several Romanian cities, representatives of the Finance Ministry, of the Economy Ministry and of ANRE.

After talking to the mayors, Nica said that "more and more city halls" are forced to shut down the street lighting during the night, due to the high electricity bills.
