The act, adopted in the Government’s Wednesday meeting, establishes the norms for the application of Law 104/2008, on the prevention and fight against the illicit traffic of high-risk doping substances, which entered force this June, with amendments.

The decision’s purpose is to prevent the sale of such substances in gyms, said Government spokeswoman Ioana Muntean. She added that gym owners will be required to present an up-to-date list of the food substances in their stock.

The new rules will enter force in 60 days.
