Romanian Incumbent President - Contender Debate Set For Thursday

A public debate between Romanian incumbent President Traian Basescu and social democrat contender Mircea Geoana will be held Thursday, 7 p.m., at the Parliament Palace.

The debate will be organized by the Institute for Public Policies and moderated by journalist Robert Turcescu.

Also, the format will be similar to that of the debate held in the first round of presidential elections, according to the terms agreed by the campaign staffs.
