Romanian Job Fair Reveals Interest In IT Jobs Among Young Professionals
The fourth edition of the Romanian job fair "Angajatori de top" opened Friday, in Bucharest, while jobs in IT and economy were the most sought after in the first hours, according to Anca Giurca, one of the organizers.

According to the organizers, in the 2007 edition of the fair 13,000 young people attended, and higher numbers are expected this year, especially since in the first two hours from the opening, hundreds of people, young as well as people with a great deal of experience, came to talk with employers.
Moreover, the initiators of the event believe that the number of visitors will be higher Saturday, since this is not a workday.
According to Giurca, one thousand people were employed after the job fair held last year. She added that, in this edition, IT jobs, economy jobs and jobs in banks are the most sought after by the people who came to meet employers. In addition, young people have also shown interest in consultancy jobs, as the first seminars organized on this topic filled the rooms.
A total number of 114 top companies attended the job fair, and the total offer will include 3,000 jobs for young professionals.
Within the fair, 20 special programs will be launched, for the recruitment of graduates in economy, IT&C and technology, and 28 career workshops will be organized, held by companies present within the event.
At the same time, young people interested in audit, taxes or consultancy are able to learn about the job offers issued by the largest companies in the area.
According to the organizers, the areas best represented through job offers are engineering (350), audit and consultancy (500), finances and accounting (600), construction (200), human resources and marketing (400), sales (250), telecom (300) and IT (400).
