Romanian Jobless Rate Seen Falling To 8% In 2011 - Draft Budget

Romanian government estimates the country’s unemployment rate will fall to 8% at the end of 2011, from a rate of 8.5% predicted for this year, according to next year’s draft budget.

The document, obtained by MEDIAFAX, indicates the total number of jobless people will drop by 40,000 to 720,000 in December next year.

Romanian unemployment rate fell slightly to 7.35% in September, from 7.39% a month earlier, according to data from the country's employment agency ANOFM.
