Romanian Killer Gets 14-Year Jail Sentence In Italy
Laurentiu Pintilie, aged 25, was found guilty of killing, in December 2006, Alberto Elkin Tabares Mesa, a 50-year old Columbian teacher.
The murder took place in an apartment in Florence where the victim had invited Pintilie in order to engage in homosexual activities. The Columbian was beaten by the Romanian and the body was found two days later.
The Florence Court sentenced Pintilie to 14 years in jail.
