Croitoru said he held a series of talks with these economists regarding the economic and financial situation of Romania, analyses based on the possibility to „update” his data.

„I have consulted (the economists) on the economic and financial situation. These are people who could have a perspective different from the one of the «insider»,” Croitoru said.

The designated prime minister added he approached some of these economists with the offer to join the future government.

Croitoru concluded saying he does not want to name the economists who did not decline his offer and the portfolios these people could receive in the future government, explaining this is part „of the don’t tell policy”.
