Romanian lender Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) signed over 10,000 loan contracts within the country’s First Home program, and the sums granted by the bank exceed EUR420 million.

More than 3,000 first home loan contracts worth over EUR150 million were signed in capital Bucharest and about 2,000 loan contracts worth over EUR70 million were signed in Transylvania, central Romania.
Within the first stage of the First Home program, the average value of a loan contract granted by BCR stood at about EUR41,200 and 1,550 loan contracts had the maximum permitted value of EUR57,000.
BCR joined the First Home program last year.
