Romanian Liberal Head Resigns Senate VP Position
Romanian liberal leader Crin Antonescu announced Sunday he gives up his position as Senate vice-president, because the electoral campaign for the presidential elections is starting and he would not have time to handle both obligations.

Antonescu added, in a press conference, that he does not want to be suspected of using the Senate’s logistics to unfold his electoral campaign for the Presidency.
"I will give up the position of Senate vice-president because I do not wish to abuse this office and I do not want to use the Senate’s logistic resources in my campaign," Antonescu said.
