Antonescu said democrat liberals are against a government led by a liberal prime minister, while liberals disagree with a democrat liberal premier.
Antonescu told democrat liberals his party sticks to its principles and conditions to form a government alliance, namely fighting for democracy and outlining a government program to take the country out of the crisis.
He said that liberals will present President Traian Basescu with the same governing coalition proposition, including the condition for a liberal or an independent prime minister.
Democrat liberal leader Emil Boc said Wednesday, after the talks with liberals, there are many things the two parties have in common, adding that, nevertheless, democrat liberals will present Basescu with a democrat liberal prime minister proposition.
Boc added negotiations on the country's prime minister will be held Wednesday at the Presidential Palace, adding the president is the one to decide on the new premier following consultations with political parties.
