Romanian Liberals To Hold Congress On March 20-21
The leaders of the Romanian National Liberal Party approved Wednesday, in the Central Standing Office meeting, the proposition issued by party leader Calin Tariceanu for a congress to be organized on March 20-21.
According to party secretary general Dan Motreanu, the proposition was passed with 21 pros, one con and two abstentions.
The members of the liberal Central Standing Office had a meeting Wednesday to vote on the organization of an extraordinary congress on March 20-21.
The meeting pushed back by one hour the reunion of the Standing Delegation, called for noon.
Tariceanu added this congress needs to be “a moment of internal political debate” that would offer the party the possibility to come before Romanians with a political projects for the future of Romania.
