Romanian Liberals To Vote Against Draft 2010 State Budget

Romanian liberal lawmakers will vote against the draft state budget for 2010, deputy Eugen Nicolaescu said Monday, adding the document is “incoherent” and “inconsistent”.

Nicolaescu said the Government should have presented the Parliament with the draft state budget for 2010 by October 15, 2009, adding the Executive did not fulfill its duty and forwarded the draft budget to the Parliament much later, on December 29.

Nicolaescu dismissed the draft state budget as "incoherent, inconsistent and allotting money in a strange way."
