Romanian Liberals Will Not Attend Presidential Consultations

“We have decided, by vote, not to attend the consultations at the president’s office. We consider them completely useless," said National liberal party vice-president Mihai Voicu after the party leaders’ meeting.

Romanian president Traian Basescu invited parliament parties as well as the Parliament group of national minorities, to consultation Thursday, this being the first occasion when the Liberal Democratic Party is invited.
