"All the amendments submitted by liberals were very useful for certain communities. We’ve noticed a complete opaqueness of the current majority to accept the point of view of the opposition. There has been pressure that is somewhat justified, but not always. There have been breaches of procedure during debates. In the end, we decided not to notify the Constitutional Court regarding the budget, because we realize that such a move would being about delays in the budget’s execution,” Tariceanu said.

He added contesting the budget law would have unfavorable consequences on local communities, which wouldn’t be able to get the money they need.

However, he said, liberal lawmakers will submit complaints regarding debates on the budget to the commission for abuse and immunity within the Chamber of Deputies.
