Romanian Ministry Employees Received Over EUR110M In Bonuses Last Year
The employees of Romania's ministries last year received bonuses and financial incentives worth more than 460 million lei (EUR1=RON4.1683) for "dangerous working conditions," working at night, or "exposure" to high frequency electromagnetic fields.

The highest bonuses went to the employees of the Finance Ministry, who received incentives worth a total RON30 million, plus bonuses totaling a gross RON634,094, according to an official document. The ministry and its subordinate bodies were allotted RON443.6 million for incentives.
Health Ministry employees received bonuses for "dangerous working conditions" totaling RON346,570, as well as incentives worth RON2.59 million.
Between January 1 and November 30, 2010, The Labor Ministry received RON2.67 million for incentives, plus RON163,467 for bonuses.
The employees of the Foreign Ministry's central office received various bonuses worth a total RON6.57 million.
Bonuses destined for the Justice Ministry's staff amounted to RON257,630.
The Environment Ministry's 630 employees received incentives totaling RON742,848 in the first nine months of last year.
