Romanian, Moldovan Presidents Meet Friday In Neptun, On Black Sea Coast

The Republic of Moldova’s interim president Mihai Ghimpu is in the Black Sea coast resort of Neptun Friday, on an unofficial visit to Romania, and is to meet his Romanian counterpart Traian Basescu.

Ghimpu and Basescu are at the Romanian president's official residence in Neptun.

The Moldovan official is to return to Chisinau Saturday.

Ghimpu was on official state-visit to Romania on April 27 and 28, following a similar visit Basescu made to Chisinau.
