Romanian MPs Validate Gabriel Sandu For Communication Min

During the parliamentary hearings, Sandu said one of his major objectives is to identify and solve the problems of the state-owned postal services company Posta Romana and the National Company for Radio Communications.

“There is a restructuring plan for Posta Romana, which I haven’t seen but I want to analyze, especially as it involves 35,000 employees. I have too clear directions, a social one and one rendering the activity efficient,” Sandu said.

He added he will propose that the ministry’s structure be amended and a state secretary position in charge of the postal services company be set up.
