Romanian Parliament Adopts Reexamined Public-Private Partnership Law

Romania’s Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday evening adopted the law regulating public-private partnerships, which was reexamined at the request of the head of state.

The lower house admitted President Traian Basescu's objections to the initial law.

The bill was adopted with 169 votes in favor and one abstention. The Senate adopted the bill on August 24.
