Romanian Parliament Committees Adopt Report On Draft 2011 State Budget

Lawmakers approved a series of amendments, some proposed by the opposition.

The committees approved earlier Sunday the report on the draft social security budget law for 2011. All the 22 articles of the draft 2011 social security budget were adopted in the format proposed by the Government. The committees rejected all amendment to the draft act.

The Parliament will start plenary debates on the two reports on Monday, as decided by the standing offices of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.
